Hey all, It’s been a while!
Not because I haven’t wanted to be here, I have! Really there has been two main contributing factors, the first – my health, the second – I broke the blog.
The second ended up being a fairly simple fix. In the end, I contacted my service provider for some support. They gave me the advice that for the blog to function at its best capacity, it would be best to move it to a different server.
Sooo after a few months of tearing my hair out, trying to understand what I had broken and how I could fix it, I ended up paying a guy.
It’s really my health to blame. I had some “interesting” health developments come to light in June! It has slowed everything down for me, and I’m not gonna lie, it’s going to continue to slow the rest of my life down as time goes by 🙂
Don’t stress though! I’m pretty healthy, you see, this photo might help explain a bit more…
Yep! Guy and myself are expecting our first baby in March 2020!
So yeah, this news came with a bunch of health issues like morning sickness, which really should just be called “all day, everyday” sickness, it has no time frame! And exhaustion! Most days you can find me napping somewhere in the house! Luckily, these two things are normal! And as a lot of people have told me, bad morning sickness often means a healthy baby! At least, that’s what I’m holding it to!
That being said, we are more than grateful for the opportunity to become parents and wholeheartedly look forward to life as a trio.
In the time that I’ve been away from the blog I’ve spent my honeymoon in Europe. Guy and myself explored Spain, France, Belgium and the Netherlands in a short 4 weeks. We ate paella, peered at the Eiffel Tower, devoured waffles and wandered the streets of Amsterdam.
I also managed to just squeeze in ticking off an item on my new years resolution list! I ripped off the band aid of attending a market! It was a simple one – The Canberra Suitcase Rummage. I packed my suitcases chock a block and spread out my wares for passers by to see! My lovely Husband was by my side the whole day, and my sister and cousin came to visit in the afternoon! It was a very quiet market, I guess a lot of people were at the larger markets that run at this time of year, but it was lots of fun, and I learnt a heap for next time!
And that’s pretty much the last 6 months in a nutshell!
Next weeks post will be coming to you on Christmas day! So stay safe and enjoy the festive season!
Much love xxx
Cate
So excited to have the blog back! And so excited to be getting a new niece or nephew!
It’s hot and smoky, but I’m busily sewing pressies today. How did it get to be a week before Christmas?
